Come As You Are (But Leave As You Weren't) Words and Music by Greg Walker The idea for this song came from one of Fred Roberts' sermons when he mentioned that all of the church signs stating "come as you are" should also include a blurb about the transformation that can occur when you come into God's presence. I'm the one that added the bad grammar. :) As you travel down the path of life, some things can cause distress. Trials, tribulations and some troubles you can't express. Do you need someone to lean on, someone to share the load? Well we have good news to tell you, we've all been down that road. Come as you are, Jesus is waiting. Just put your trust in Him, and never walk alone. Come as you are, His arms are wide open. Come as you are, but leave as you weren't. If you have some heavy burdens and some things that weigh you down, bring them to the Master, He'll make sure that you do not drown. Yes, He died upon the cross so that we could all be free. Now we all will share in God's love and peace eternally. "I'll go to church next Sunday", you have often said. But, every week goes by and you stay at home instead. Don't worry what you'll look like. Don't worry if you'll blend. Just come on in we'll greet you just like a long lost friend.

The Only One 06:16
The Only One Words and Music by Greg Walker and Katy Buchanan Early in 2015, Katy Buchanan gave me a demo of an unfinished song called "Free". Always looking for new inspiration, I decided to see if I could finish it for her. After additional writing, arranging, and lyrics, I think it really turned out to be a beautiful song. I am standing here singing praise of Your amazing grace. I am free. I can raise both my hands to show that You're my only King. I am free. And I will shout out Your name. And I will exalt You in praise. And I will share this love across the universe 'til they know Your name. Jesus, You're the only one for me. I waken up early in the morning and open Your word to hear the Truth. By Your grace I am forgiven and I'm free to worship You. You deserve glory, honor and praise; love and devotion all of my days. I'm lifting my voice in worship to You, knowing that You'll see me through.

Do the Right Thing Words and Music by Greg Walker This song is a (gentle?) reminder to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. News programs and Facebook can become downright hateful at times, especially if an election is approaching. Just because you think you are in the right doesn't mean you need to be harmful to others. "All you need is love..." The people around you might not agree with your views, and much to your surprise, they're even sittin' right there in the pews. You wanna argue and "discuss" things and tell them all the ways they are wrong. But, if you do, that friend of yours might not be a friend for long. Do the right thing and let Jesus lead, and remember that love is the greatest thing. Be patient and kind don't be boastful or rude. Just remember to think to yourself "What would Jesus do?" Be kind to your neighbor. Don't judge them or condemn. Show God's love through your actions, giving glory to your Father in heaven. If you project joy and hope to all, and help the needy with your hands. You can draw more followers to Christ and you'll be giving peace a chance.

Jesus Loves Me Words by A. Warner & D. McGuire/Music by W. Bradbury Additional Words and Music by Greg Walker This is one of my all time favorite hymns to arrange. My piano solo arrangement has always been a popular offertory at church, so I wanted to try my hand at a band arrangement. My daughter, Lindsay, and I had a great time recording the vocals for this one. During the bridge, I think there ended up being eight Lindsays and eight Gregs singing at the same time. The funky guitar part really put the icing on the cake. Jesus loves me. This I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; they are weak but He is strong. Jesus loves me. This I know, as He loved so long ago. Taking children on His knee, saying "Let them come to me". Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so. Jesus loves me still today, walking with me on my way. wanting as a friend to give light and love to all who live. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus... He's got the whole world in His hands. God sent us His only Son. Over sin the victory's won. When I die, saved by His grace, I shall see Him face to face.
